Home Health Aide’s responsibilities include:
- Bathing, dressing, undressing and grooming clients.
- Assisting in feeding clients who requires help.
- Assisting clients with self-administration of medication.
- Assisting with transfer of clients in and out of bed. Transporting clients using wheelchair or wheeled cart, or assisting clients to walk.
- Toileting of clients who are incontinent or diapered.
- Turning and repositioning bedfast clients to prevent bedsores.
- Changing bed linens.
- Running errands using your personal vehicle.
- Taking and recording temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates.
- Monitoring clients’ food and fluid intake/output as directed by care plan.
- Dusting and cleaning clients’ rooms.
- Providing respite care, which includes supervision, companionship, and direct client assistance.
- Protecting Agape In Home & Health Care’s values by keeping clients’ information confidential and adhering to professional state and federal laws.
- Updating job knowledge by participating in educational in-service training.
